About Leader

Leader is Australia’s largest Australian‑owned PC manufacturer and the fastest‑growing IT distributor, with $700M+ revenue and 270+ employees nationwide. We’re proudly 100% South Australian‑owned and operate warehousing, sales, service, and PC production across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth. People are our greatest asset — we invest in culture, development, and long‑term careers.

Role objective

Drive vendor growth and market share across Australia by owning Sales, Strategy, and Marketing initiatives for Cybersecurity, LTE, and Power product categories. You’ll partner with our national sales team to create demand, enable partners, and deliver first‑to‑market launches.

Key responsibilities

  • Sales enablement: Work with 45+ account managers, branch managers, BDMs, and sales leads to identify key accounts, growth opportunities, and campaign ideas to increase portfolio revenue.
  • Category strategy: Create and execute strategic plans to penetrate new verticals and sub‑product markets. Deliver clear, measurable outcomes.
  • Training & enablement: Design and deliver webinars, workshops, and sales training for internal teams and channel partners. Confident public speaking and presentation skills required.
  • New product launches: Lead go‑to‑market planning: collateral, launch materials, training, and stock readiness to ensure we’re first to market.
  • Vendor & partner relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with MSPs, integrators, and resellers across Australia. Regular interstate travel for partner visits and events.
  • Product planning & inventory: Own forecasting, ordering, and stock management to maintain optimal inventory and support channel sell‑through.
  • Reporting & analysis: Produce performance reports, gap analyses, and vendor sales insights to inform strategy and actions.
  • Technical mastery: Achieve vendor sales and technical certifications to act as the subject matter expert for your category.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience with cybersecurity solutions, LTE technologies, or power management products.
  • Product management, marketing, or strategy experience highly regarded.
  • Strong communicator with excellent presentation and training skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and experience in reporting/forecasting.
  • Reliable, proactive, and collaborative team player who can build relationships across sales and channel partners.
  • Previous Product Manager experience is an advantage.

Remuneration & culture

We offer competitive pay and a generous long‑term rewards philosophy: when the company grows, our people share the success. Leader has a 25+ year history and many team members with 5, 10, and 20+ years’ tenure.

Why Join Leader?

  • Australian‑owned with national presence — decisions are made locally and quickly, with a strong understanding of the Australian channel.
  • One of the fastest‑growing IT distributors in the country — growth creates opportunity, and high performers advance rapidly.
  • Privately held and agile — no corporate bureaucracy; we move fast, back talent, and reward people who deliver.
  • High‑performance culture — people become recognised experts in their field far earlier than industry norms.
  • Unmatched industry access — build relationships with 10,000+ channel partners and work directly with 70+ global IT vendors.
  • Career acceleration through training — free certifications, hands‑on learning, and exposure to real engineering challenges.
  • A place where technical people grow fast — broad platform exposure, multi‑vendor environments, and real engineering depth.
