Receptionist/ Accounts Officer

Location: Adelaide, CBD

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

* Managing reception desk
* Answering phones
* Greeting and assisting customers
* Drive innovation and efficiency of processes with the team
* Customer account receipting
* Applying customers payments to invoices
* Preparation of statements for customers
* Customer account reconciliations
* Solving customer issues

As a mission-critical team member, you will be empowered to drive efficiency, innovation, and uptime across our internal systems and infrastructure.

Leader is Australia’s largest privately owned IT distributor. We are proudly SA company with headquarters in Franklin St, Adelaide.

This is not your average IT job. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our computer systems and networks, ensuring their optimal performance. This includes installing server hardware and software, monitoring connectivity, and providing technical support to employees. You will also lead projects for AI, cybersecurity, automation, and cloud infrastructure—with one clear mission: to make our systems the fastest and most reliable in the industry, enabling our people and customers to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the performance, uptime, and speed of internal systems and websites
  • Administer and optimise infrastructure: VMWare/Hyper-V, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Cisco, Veeam
  • Implement and enforce internal SLA’s, IT ticketing systems, and system monitoring
  • Design and test fast, reliable backup and disaster recovery systems
  • Lead AI/ML & automation projects to improve operations (Power Automate, AI Sales Coach)
  • Drive cyber security initiatives including testing, phishing prevention & pen testing
  • Collaborate closely with our Head of Development and product teams on major tech projects
  • Champion Microsoft certifications and continuous improvement
  • Communicate clearly, respectfully, and positively with all team members

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and security protocols
  • VMWare \ Hyper V knowledge
  • Fortinet experience
  • Ubiquiti and Cisco switching experience
  • Veeam backups experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • SQL experience would be advantage
  • Sophos & 3CX experience would be advantage
  • AI experience would be an advantage

About the Role

Are you a reliable and motivated warehouse professional with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic? Leader Systems, a leading name in technology manufacturing and distribution, is looking for a skilled Warehouse Storeperson to join our energetic and multicultural team.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse environment, where your organisational skills, efficiency, and ability to communicate effectively will be key to ensuring smooth warehouse operations and timely deliveries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing & Despatch: Accurately pack, wrap, and label products for safe shipment.
• Shipping Coordination: Book pickups and manage deliveries using online despatch platforms such as StarTrack.
• Customer Service: Liaise professionally with customers regarding order and delivery status.
• Receiving Goods: Accept and log incoming stock with precision and attention to detail.
• Stock Management: Pick, store, and organise stock across the warehouse and factory efficiently.

 

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Forklift Licence (Preferred)
• Driver Licence (Preferred)
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience
• Experience with StarTrack or similar freight systems
• Qualification in Logistics or Warehousing – Advantageous but not required
